2011- The time is now!



It is now 2011 and our Hot For The Holidays contest is ending THIS WEEK! I will be remeasuring all who participated at your next workout!

I always set New Year's resolutions and they always seem to get me on the right track each year. I still have some from my Freshman year in college that I haven't broken yet! I learned all about fats in one of my Freshman nutrition classes, then saw what it does to your arteries in my Physiology class and swore off trans fats, and all fried foods. I have not had a donut in 7 years and have not had any deep fried foods in 7 years. I never felt good after I ate them, so I cut them completely out!

A few of my goals this year? Make sure to get in my daily fruits and veggies and to get 7 hours of sleep a night.

It is now your turn to think of a New Year's Resolution. I like to set a goal for each aspect in my life. Physical aspect, social, mental, and spiritual.

My goal for you: Minimum of 3 days a week of cardio, 30 minutes is great. Not only for weight loss, but to keep your heart healthy. It is crucial.
